Bridge Builders is a new NHS Lothian initiative where volunteers, who are currently studying for a career in healthcare, are recruited to accompany patients who may benefit from additional support
to attend and engage in their outpatient appointments. The programme is open to anyone who may benefit from having a volunteer attend their outpatient appointment with them within the Edinburgh boundary.  

We are open for referrals and at a minimum can accept by email the persons name, contact number and consent for us to get in touch. Self-referrals are also accepted.
